Terms of service

The rules for using Charik Studio, the LinkedIn post scheduling service.

The service

Charik Studio lets you write, save, schedule and publish posts on your LinkedIn profile and on the company pages you manage, follow RSS feeds and receive posts prepared with an assistant such as ChatGPT.

Your account

You sign in with your LinkedIn account and allow Charik Studio to publish on your behalf. You are responsible for the use of your account and of the devices or assistants you connect to it. You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab. Deleting it also cancels your subscription at once, with no refund of the month started.

Your content

Your content remains yours. You only grant us the right to store it, process it and send it to LinkedIn to provide the service, at the time you chose. You warrant that you hold the rights to what you publish (texts, images, documents, links) and remain responsible for it.

You agree to follow LinkedIn’s User Agreement and its publishing rules, and not to use Charik Studio to publish unlawful, misleading or hateful content, spam, or content that infringes the rights of others.

Short links lead to the address you published. We may disable a short link that leads to malicious or unlawful content.

Publishing and limits

Charik Studio publishes at the scheduled time, within a few minutes, as long as your LinkedIn connection is valid and LinkedIn accepts the publication. LinkedIn may refuse, delay or remove content, and change its services without notice. If the outcome of a send is uncertain, Charik Studio never republishes on its own and asks you to check. The service is provided as is, without any guarantee of continuous availability.

Subscription and payment

Scheduling and publishing posts needs the Charik Studio subscription, at €10 excluding tax per month; VAT is added depending on your country, and the amount including tax is shown before you confirm the payment. Without a subscription you can use the rest of the service (drafts, RSS feeds in drafts mode, assistants in “to confirm” mode). Payment is by card, through Stripe.

The subscription renews automatically every month. You can cancel it at any time from Account › Subscription: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no prorated refund. Once the subscription has ended, posts still scheduled are not sent; they stay in Charik Studio and can be scheduled again if you subscribe again. If a renewal payment fails, access stays open for 7 days while you update your card.

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from subscribing to withdraw, by writing to [email protected]: the subscription is then cancelled and the amount paid fully refunded.

Prices may change: we will tell you at least one month in advance, by email or notification, and you can cancel before the change applies.

Assistants (ChatGPT)

If you connect an assistant, it acts with the rights you give it: read your feeds and posts, create drafts and schedule posts, either directly or awaiting your confirmation depending on your setting. Check what the assistant prepares: you remain responsible for published content. You can disconnect it at any time from Sources.

Suspension

We may suspend an account in case of use contrary to these terms, abuse endangering the service or its users, or at the request of an authority.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, for decisions made by LinkedIn or OpenAI, or for content you chose to publish.

Changes

These terms may change; the update date appears at the bottom of the page. In case of a significant change, we will let you know in the application.
